ANYway…the Wild Heart Gallery let out not only the dogs but all the other animals in their 4th Annual Animal Portrait show (online). They selected a best of show, an overall runner up, two specialty awards, honorable mentions, finalists, and “selected.” My cape buffalo and his bird friend received one of the honorable mentions. It’s always especially nice to get recognition for a genre in which I spend little time.
