APOCALYPSE NOW – Heather Myers – September 2021

“Apocalypse Now” is one of (if not my favorite) movies, and I’ve used it as inspiration for a couple of shoots (including Perrin with teh bowl of water.) But…that water was cold! “Suffer for your art” as Purrversia (and others) has said. But I have only myself to blame and the fact that it had been a short summer and by September the pool was cooler than I would care to tolerate, especially once the sun came down. – 08-2025

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA – Arizona Sands and KB Photography – 2018

This I think was suggested by a model named Erin (who played Christine) and Purrversia asked if I wanted to play Phantom. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but the makeup took over an hour and was super uncomfortable (though I looked awful so it was well done; I wish I could remember the MUA). It was an all-day affair, some on set and then some out on location once the sun had gone down. There was a lot of fiddling with equipment and off-camera flash and the like. Also trying to play attraction with Erin’s and my significant others looking on was…weird. Good exercise in being patient I suppose. – 08/2025
