This page is a list of the books I’ve recommended in my blog. Photography books that I like are few and far between and as I’m always looking for recommendations I thought I’d offer up some of my favorites (in no particular order). They also tend to be expensive or hard to find so, if one is going to go to the effort, best to hunt and pay for one that you’ll treasure rather than face loss and regret.

[NOTE: When I was updating this site in 2025 I thought about copying the blog posts to this page so you wouldn’t have to go find them, but in some cases the posts have other personal thoughts, and even some of my own images. Each book listing has the blog date and I would encourage you to go digging if you want to know what I thought and what else I may have said. I’d like to think the effort will be rewarded.]
